When a Value Turns Into Protection
Saboteurs are familiar territory for many coaches, yet the turning point can still be easy to miss: the moment a value that usually supports us starts to tighten, protect, and quietly narrow what feels possible. This session offers a way to recognize that shift more clearly, so the pattern becomes something we can work with, not something we have to battle.
For some, that shift shows up when care becomes over-functioning, responsibility becomes pressure, or excellence becomes relentless self-monitoring. For others, the challenge is less about naming the pattern and more about making it visible in a way that feels tangible, embodied, and useful in real coaching conversations.
What this sessions helps illuminate:
- How a value in fulfillment differs from a value in overdrive.
- How Saboteur patterns show up through language, feelings, and behaviors.
- How an embodied approach can make familiar coaching concepts more tangible and experiential.
- How to begin seeing Saboteurs as allies carrying protection, rather than obstacles to eliminate.
This webinar offers a fresh way to revisit a familiar Co-Active tool and helps participants move from automatic protection toward conscious choice.
